About Danny Price

R. Daniel Price (Danny) has served as General Counsel to Berry College since 2006. After graduating with a B.S. in Economics from Berry in 1988, with induction into Omicron Delta Epsilon (International Economics Honor Society), he attended The University of Georgia School of Law, receiving his Juris Doctor degree in May 1991. During his time at UGA Law, he was inducted into the International Order of Barristers, served as Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity President, was a member of the Intra-state Mock Trial Team, was chosen as the law school Mock Trial Champion, and served as Student Coordinator for the Law School Criminal Defense Clinic in conjunction with the Athens-Clarke County Public Defender’s Office. He was in private practice for 11 years, and served as the elected State Court Solicitor-General in Effingham County, GA from 1999-2002. In 2002, Danny returned to his alma mater as a member of the Advancement Staff in major gifts fundraising. Danny is a member of the National Association of College and University Attorneys, and has served the association on various committees. He has led conference sessions on Attorney-Client Privilege at the NACUA annual conference, and is a guest lecturer in Higher Ed Law at the UGA Law School.
