Berry College High School Choir Festival


Berry College will host the second annual High School Choir Festival for students (grades 9-12). Students from across the South will enjoy a day on the beautiful Berry College campus in choral rehearsals and workshops with Berry students and music faculty. At the conclusion of the Festival, the students will present a concert of choral works, showcasing the talent of the students, along with the Berry Singers and other choral groups from Berry College. Come join us for a wonderful day of learning and inspirational music.

9:25 - 9:30 am – Welcome to Berry Choir Festival 
9:30 - 10:45 am – Rehearsals
10:45 - 11:00 am – Break
11:00 - 12:15 pm – Rehearsals
12:15 pm - 1:15 pm – Lunch in Ford Dining Hall
1:30 pm Mixed Choir Dress Rehearsal
2:45 pm Break/Switch locations 
3:00 pm Women’s Choir Dress Rehearsal 
4:00 pm – Final Concert
5:00 pm - Finish

Eligibility

Mixed Choir - Bring your best students in balanced SSAATTBB octets, maximum of 16 students. Additional students may be submitted as alternates and will be assigned as needed after close of registration.

Women’s Choir - Bring your best students in balanced SSAA quartets, maximum of 16 students. Additional students may be submitted as alternates and will be assigned as needed after close of registration.

Cost

$30.00 per student = Catered lunch + T-shirt. (Complimentary director's lunch provided by the choral program. Music is NOT PROVIDED.)

Student Dress

Comfortable and casual. Performance will be in choir festival t-shirt and jeans.
