Kevin Cantwell is the author of two poetry collections, One of Those Russian Novels and Something Black in the Green Part of Your Eye. His poems have appeared in Commonweal, Paris Review, The New Republic, Shenandoah,Antioch Review, Southwest Review, Metre, Poetry, and Irish Pages. His anthology, Writing on Napkins at the Sunshine Club: An Anthology of Poets Writing in Macon, was published by Mercer University Press in 2011, and in 2012 he won the James Dickey Poetry Prize from Five Points. He chairs the Department of Media, Culture, and the Arts at Middle Georgia State College.
