Stephen Corey


Stephen Corey has published nine collections of poems, most recently There is No Finished World,and co-edited four books in three genres. His poems, essays, and reviews have appeared in many periodicals, among them Shenandoah, The American Poetry Review, Poets & Writers, and The Kenyon Review. From 1977-83 Corey co-edited and subsequently edited The Devil's Millhopper, an independent poetry magazine he helped to found. Since 1983 he has been with The Georgia Review, serving variously as assistant editor, associate editor, acting editor, and currently editor. He is currently editor-in-residence for the Rainier Writing Workshop low-residency MFA program at Pacific Lutheran University. Read more about him at
