Richards Undergraduate Research Grant (RUGS)

The RUGS Grant supports students in good academic standing that propose one-year research projects or creative endeavors where the student is the project lead (as appropriate to the discipline) and will be carrying out a majority of the project’s objectives.  Funding may not be used for conference travel.  


The applicant must be a full-time student in good academic standing with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. 


RUGS recipients must present their work at the Berry Symposium on Student Scholarship and submit a final project report. 

Award Amount - Up to $1,500

Award Duration  - 1 year

Due Date - September 18, 2018; November 19, 2018; January 18, 2019; April 18, 2019
