Job Summary

THE DEPARTMENT OF CHEMISTRY & BIOCHEMISTRY AT BERRY COLLEGE, an ACS-approved program, invites applications for the position of tenure-track assistant professor of biochemistry to begin in August 2018. The successful candidate will teach a variety of chemistry courses, including upper and lower level biochemistry courses and associated labs. The candidate will be expected to establish a strong research program involving undergraduate students. In addition to a commitment to excellence in teaching and scholarship, the successful candidate should possess a strong interest in service and mentoring students in a residential college environment.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in biochemistry, or a closely related field, with postdoctoral experience strongly preferred.
