Below is a list of some of our most frequently asked questions. If you have further questions or concerns about anything in class, please talk with your child's teacher. You can always email me at knobles@berry.edu.

You can download the free Kindermusik App, https://www.kindermusik.com/free-app, so you can stream and sing along to favorite music from class, explore instruments together, and grab weekend activity ideas all in one place.

We are in the Historic Ford Complex which houses alumni relations and music.

Driving directions

Be prepared to show your driver’s license at the welcome center unless you have a Berry parking decal. Visitor decals are available for purchase at The Welcome Center.

Allow plenty of time to find a parking place and get to class. Once you arrive on campus, it will take you at least 5 minutes to get from the parking lot to the classroom.

Elevator access is on the first floor and a great asset. Please help us keep the alarm from ringing or the help button from being pushed. Buttons are inviting to children, and they are low...but keep them from calling security! Let them push the "floor" buttons, but stay away from the red and yellow ones! 

Yes, park in the handicap parking (4 on the map) and enter the Bell Recital Hall. Go through the door to the right and down the hallway to the elevator that will take you to the third floor. For more information email Kathryn Nobles.

We include all children in Kindermusik. Email us so we can begin a conversation to best serve your child.

There is not a changing station available.  There are benches in the hallway that will suffice, but a personal changing pad/cushion will make it more comfortable and sanitary for your child. 

Please not there is also no proper place to dispose of diapers, and you are encouraged to pack it in/pack it out. 

If the Floyd County schools are closed due to inclement weather, then Kindermusik will not meet. If you are not sure if Kindermusik classes will be held due to weather conditions, please check our  Facebook page for updates or email knobles@berry.edu

Classes canceled due to weather will be made up at the end of the semester.  

If you miss a class, you are welcome to make it up on another day/time. Unfortunately, some classes don't have that option. We encourage you to email about making up a class, just so we know you are coming. 

You will be notified via email and possibly text if a teacher needs to cancel due to illness and a substitute cannot be found.

Partial refunds due to moving, surgery or extended illness are an option, just ask. 

If there is space available in a Foundations or Level 2 class, you can begin up until week 7 with the fee being pro-rated. 

Kindermusik of Berry College does not follow a specific school system for breaks. Teachers will announce these to individual classes and updates can be found on our  Facebook page. No classes on Labor Day. Monday classes will make those up the week of Thanksgiving. 

Yes, if you do not have an easy childcare option, please feel free to bring your baby or toddler along with an older sibling.  Your child’s teacher can help you learn best practices to engage your baby while focusing on your older child. 

Every class has digital music/books via the Kindermusik App. Every level includes a hard copy of the books and one instrument each semester.  Level 3, 4 and 5 include a backpack/tote bag for bringing necessary materials to class. This helps teach responsibility and preparedness for school.

Summer classes are offered in one-week sessions where you attend every day for a week. Class times vary based on the age group.  Family Time (babies – age 7) is only offered during the summer session. 

  • Instruments/props will be cleaned after each class 
  • The classroom will be cleaned thoroughly on a regular basis 
  • An air purifier has been added to assist in removing impurities from the classroom 
  • Please do not attend Kindermusik if you or your child has had a fever within 24 hours of class or been exposed to COVID-19. 
  • At this time mask are optional, but you are welcome to wear them if that is best for the health situation in your home. 
  • A water filling station is available for your water bottles 


We will follow all CDC, GA Department of Health and Berry College guidelines and policies related to COVID-19.
