Campbell School of Business MBA Graduate Assistantship Program

All Graduate Assistant Positions for 2018-2019 have been filled.

The Campbell School of Business MBA Program is accepting applications for Graduate Assistantship that will begin in fall 2018.

Within the Campbell School, Graduate Assistants may be assigned to a variety of projects.  Most recently Graduate Assistants have completed strategic plans and marketing plans for local non-profit and for-profit organizations, assisted with the entrepreneurship program, developed and managed social media avenues for the entrepreneurship and MBA programs, and conducted research on an as-needed basis.  Assignments vary each semester based upon the needs of the School.

Assistantships are highly competitive but the benefits of being selected are tremendous.  The conditions of the assistantship are the following:

  • Tuition waiver – must enroll in at least 6 credits of MBA work (exceptions must have prior approval)
  • Must maintain at least a 3.0 GPA, failure to do so will result in loss of the assistantship
  • Complete an Application for and Confirmation of Graduate Assistants Form prior to each semester.  Form must be completed with the MBA Director.
  • Complete 20 hours of work each week at $8.90/hour and receive satisfactory evaluations from the supervisor of your graduate assistant work
  • Comply with the student regulations of Berry College as outlined in the Viking Code.

Please fill out the application form and submit with:

  • Cover letter outlining your reasons for applying and your qualifications
  • Current resume

Priority consideration given to applications received by May 1, 2018

You do not have to be admitted into the MBA Program in order to apply for an assistantship; however, you must be accepted for admission before an assistantship can be formally offered.
