2020 Mountain Day: Alumni Update

With continued uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic and a growing number of cases across our state and region, college leaders have decided to host a virtual Mountain Day celebration for alumni on Saturday, Oct. 10. Visit or visit us on Facebook for more information.

2020 Mountain Day: Parent Update

In our continued efforts to protect the health and wellbeing of our community, on-campus Mountain Day activities will only be open to students. However, we invite you to celebrate with us – from wherever you are this year! Mountain Day is an annual tradition celebrating Martha Berry’s birthday. It is also Berry’s Homecoming. Students, faculty and staff, as well as parents, alumni and friends are invited to join in the festivities.

Follow these 3 steps to make sure you're ready for our first-ever virtual Mountain Day on Saturday, October 10:

1) Order your official 2020 Mountain Day parent merchandise! Items include an exclusive Berry parent Mountain Day shirt with “Berry College Parent” on the front and the Alma Mater on the back. You can also send your student a special Mountain Day treat for them to pick up on campus!

2) Share your photos on social media for a chance to win! Show us how you're celebrating Mountain Day at home by posting a selfie in your parent Mountain Day shirt using #mntday20 or raise a cupcake to Martha Berry using #cupcakesformartha!

3) Follow along with us online! Find more on the Berry Alumni webpage about Mountain Day traditions, virtual Mountain Day events, and more!
