Brunch Registration

Thursday, OCTOBER 3

7 p.m., “A Walk on the Shadow Side of Leadership” Lecture, Spruill Ballroom in Krannert Center
Free entry. Join us for the first lecture in the 2019-20 Cecil B. Wright III Integrity in Leadership Lecture Series featuring Dr. Craig E. Johnson, an Emeritus Professor of Leadership Studies at George Fox University. Counts as CE credit.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 4

11 a.m., Mountain Day Golf Scramble, Stonebridge Golf Club
$95/person, Registration opens at the course at 10 a.m.; shotgun start 11 a.m.. Fee includes prizes, tee gifts, lunch and green fees. For more information, contact Coach Brian Farrer at bfarrer@berry.edu.

3 p.m., Mountain Day Parade and Olympics, Opportunity Drive and Evans Lawn 
Student residence hall, commuter, and faculty/staff teams compete in field day events for bragging rights and the spirit award.

7 p.m., Men’s Soccer vs Centre, Pearson Field
Free entry. Join your fellow Viking fans under the lights to cheer on the Men’s Soccer as they take on the Centre Colonels.

7:30 p.m., BCTC Presents The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Sisters Theatre at Blackstone Hall  
This production is a musical comedy directed by Dr. Anna Filippo. $6/student tickets, $8/senior citizens, $12/general admission, Reservations can be made by calling the box office at 706-236-2263.

8 p.m., KCAB Presents Mountain Day Talent Show, Krannert Spruill Ballroom
$5/person, Students may purchase tickets week of at Campus Information Desk. Remaining tickets available for purchase at the door, limited seating available.

10 a.m., Special Tribute for Miss Martha Berry, College Chapel South Lawn
Members of the Daughter of Berry are hosting a graveside memorial service to honor the school’s founder. All are welcome to attend. Parking is available in the lots behind Green Hall and the Cook Building.

10 a.m., High School/Academy Reunion Brunch, Hill Dining Hall - Register Here 
$15/person, individual and group price packages available (plus option to purchase Mountain Day shirt). Registration is required by September 27. Celebrating the reunions for the classes of 1974A and 1979A. Coffee at 9:30 a.m.; brunch at 10 a.m. Parking is available at Frost Chapel parking lot or as directed.

10 a.m., College Class Reunion Brunch, The Hub at WinShape - Register Here
$15/person, individual and group price packages available (plus option to purchase Mountain Day shirt).  Registration is required by September 27. Celebrating the class reunions of 1974C, 1979C, 1984C, 1989C, 1994C, 1999C, 2004C, 2009C, and 2014C. Special reunion parking is available at the WinShape Center or as directed.

11 a.m.–3 p.m., Tent Village, Mountain Campus 
Visit booths sponsored by Berry student entrepreneurial projects and Berry student enterprises. Alumni tent will include information and merchandise available for purchase.

11:15 a.m.  Class Reunion Photos, The HUB, Winshape
Class reunion photos will be made for each of the classes in order of class year, starting at 11:15 a.m.  Alumni staff will direct class members to the designated photo area.  Photos will be available for download at www.berry.edu/alumni after Oct. 7.

11:30 a.m.–2 p.m., Picnic Lunch, WinShape Pavilion
$10/person, $7 for kids five and under.

Noon-1 p.m., Grand March Concert, Mountain Campus 
Berry College Wind Ensemble, Conductor: Dr. Lauren Denney Wright

Noon–3 p.m., House o’ Dreams Tour, WinShape Pavilion 
Free. Tour times: Noon, 1 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. First come, first served. LIMITED CAPACITY. Tour time tickets available at House o’ Dreams pick-up area adjacent to WinShape Pavilion. Tours may be cancelled due to inclement weather. Help us protect the beauty of our historic properties! Please no pets or large strollers and leave food and drink behind when you board the buses.

1 p.m.-2 p.m., Grand March, Mountain Campus
Students participating in the march should line up by 12:45 p.m. Don’t forget to bring pennies to drop in the basket, which goes to support a student scholarship.

A milestone celebration for the 10th, 25th and 40th reunions. A special reception for the members of the 1979C, 1994C and 2009C classes. Great food and recognition gifts for members of these classes will be available.

3:30 p.m., Women’s Soccer vs Centre, Pearson Field
