Computer Labs

COMPUTER LAB RESERVATION POLICY 

Cook, and Laughlin laboratories may be reserved for class use during the day. To reserve a lab for class meetings, Berry faculty and staff may use the Campus EMS system. You will receive a confirmation email when it has been reviewed and processed. Please submit reservation requests at least 3 days in advance. 

COMPUTER LAB USAGE & PRIORITY POLICY

  • Classes meeting in the lab as their regular meeting place, assigned through the Registrar's office
  • Classes reserved in the lab, confirmed through the campus EMS system (see above)
  • Non-academic sessions, reserved through the campus EMS system
  • Students using the lab for class or college purposes
  • Students using the lab for leisure or personal activities

Lab hours may vary by semester, but general hours and the software available in each lab can be found here

If lab hours appear to be incorrect please open the web page in another browser, or contact computing@berry.edu. At no time are food or drink permitted in the computer labs. Failure to abide by this policy will result in removal from the computer lab.

COOK 107 COMPUTER LABORATORY

This is a general access facility providing support primarily to the Charter School of Education and Human Sciences. Classes are conducted in this laboratory and have first priority, and the lab is available for faculty, staff and student use during all other open hours. 

EVANS 206-E COMPUTER LABORATORY

This is a general access facility providing support primarily to the Evans School of Humanities. The lab is available for student use during all open hours. 

LAUGHLIN 111 COMPUTER LABORATORY

This is a general access facility providing support primarily to the Communications Arts and Visual & Performing Arts Departments, and the lab is available for faculty, staff and student use during all other open hours. Classes are conducted in this laboratory and have first priority. 

MCALLISTER 236 COMPUTER LABORATORY

This is a general access facility providing support primarily to the Mathematical and Natural Science Departments. The lab is available for student use during all open hours. 

OTHER LABS:

KRANNERT LOBBY WIRELESS PRINTING
Wireless printing is available for student use in the Krannert lobby. Please see the information desk assistant for instructions and assistance.

MEMORIAL LIBRARY COMPUTER LAB
Operated by the Library for student use, this facility contains 21 computers. Contact jworsham@berry.edu for further information.

PSYCHOLOGY COMPUTER LAB
This is a small, six computer facility operated by the Psychology Department for its students. Contact dnorman@berry.edu for further information.
