On campus cable TV service is provided by Comcast. When you have cable service or repair requests, please email the Technical Support Desk at email@example.com. Please be sure to provide them with your contact information, building name and room number, along with a description of the issue. For a full list of Berry cable TV channels, click here.
Berry College resident students have access to Comcast’s Xfinity On-Campus service. This unique service allows students to watch live TV or view any of hundreds of titles in Comcast’s On-Demand library from any device connected to Berry’s wired or wireless network. I’m coming to Berry! What kind of computer should I get?
OIT does not give brand recommendations for students wishing to purchase a new computer. In most cases, any machines purchased within the last three years will fit your needs. Keep in mind when buying a new computer: OIT recommends a three year warranty minimum.
My personal computer is acting
weird. Can you help me?
The Technical Support Desk can assist any Berry user with basic troubleshooting, but our staff technicians do not work on personally-owned computers.
For more complex issues, the BITS Crew is available to assist Berry students with software issues such as virus removal and data backup for a fee. Email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 706-238-5871 to make an appointment with one of our technicians. BITS Crew is located in the Memorial Library 106 - hours vary by semester, but we are generally open for walk-in support Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.
The BITS Crew does not work on hardware. If we diagnose your computer with a hardware issue, we will refer you to a local vendor who can perform the repair for a fee.
