I’m coming to Berry! What kind of computer should I get?
OIT does not give
brand recommendations for students wishing to purchase a new computer. In most cases, any
machines purchased within the last three years will fit your

staff technicians do not work on personally-owned computers. The Technical
Support Desk can assist any Berry user with basic troubleshooting. For more
complex issues, the BITS Crew is available to assist Berry students with
Windows software issues such as virus removal and data backup. The BITS Crew does not work on Macs. The BITS Crew is
staffed by student workers, so appointments are necessary.

Computers can perform computer work for a fee. They are an independent
contractor and thus are not endorsed by the college even though we are very
familiar with their work.
