Ask Me About

All things LifeWorks, from both the supervisor and the student perspective: creating jobs, finding jobs, exploring options for new opportunities both on and off campus. Let’s talk about how our office can help you gain those valuable skills and insights that Berry students find unique to their experience here.

ADVICE TO STUDENTS

Savor your time here, don’t rush it! Give yourself grace, and always reach out for help if you need it. Cultivate a relationship with a mentor.

Favorite job as a college student

Working in the university writing center as a student writing coach. I loved helping people understand how to break down a daunting task like writing a paper and emerge with confidence and a plan.

Favorite spot on campus

The Snow White woods next to the Viking Trail.

Favorite assessment tool

MBTI, DISC, and Enneagram.

Favorite quote

“Life is short. We don't have much time to gladden the hearts of those who walk this way with us. So, be swift to love and make haste to be kind.” -Henri-Frédéric Amiel

Favorite thing about working with Berry students in the cppd

Berry attracts a special kind of person: someone who wants to make an impact on the wider world, to explore a variety of passions, to know and be known by a close-knit community. I love to see students who are often anxious and unsure of where they fit gradually find their way here. Finding a LifeWorks job that dovetails with their goals and strengths is a fabulous way to find that fit, and it’s a privilege to help.
