The Country School Association of America will hold its 13th annual conference Monday (June 17) through June 19 at Berry College.
The association is an organization for people who wish to preserve country schools often referred to as "one room school houses." Association members create and/or maintain museums and also promote living history programs. Participants are coming from 15 different states. They chose Berry because of Martha Berry's vision of starting a one room school. During the conference attendees will visit the Martha Berry Museum, Possum Trot, Roosevelt Cabin, Everett Springs School , Noble Hill School in Cassville, Fairview School in Cave Spring and Hearn Academy.
This event is open to the public and prices start at $90 for a full day with meals. To view the conference schedule or to register, visit countryschoolassociation.org.
