Sue is originally from Clymer, NY, and her first job was with a social service agency that worked with emotionally disturbed children. Since then, Sue has worked at several colleges and has been a part of the Berry family for many years, beginning her work in the Career Center in 2007. Sue and the Career Center staff work with all students on the various elements of career planning, self-assessment, internships and post graduate preparation.

We look forward to meeting students to offer assistance and connect them to our resources, our alumni and our employers.

Sylvia Howard

Office Manager

Attended University of West Georgia
Sylvia is originally from Schulenburg, TX, but she has worked in Sao Paulo, Brazil doing social ministry with children in the slums. She was also a freelance writer and worked as a paralegal for many years. Sylvia now works to encourage students to fulfill their career goals by organizing and promoting the various activities the Career Center offers. She comes to work each day looking forward to seeing Berry students come to the Career Center to take advantage of the services it offers.

Elizabeth is originally from Powder Springs, GA, and her first job was as a graphic designer. She now uses those skills to work to engage students with Career Center resources and programming.

Alex Kops

Internship Coordinator

Bachelor of Arts, International Global Studies, Sewanee: The University of the South, Sewanee Tennessee

 Alex is originally from Woodstock, GA and is currently a Graduate Assistant for the Berry College Career Center. He helps facilitate and guide students with their internship search, questions, and the academic internship process.
