Mission Statement

The Krannert Center Activities Board, better known as KCAB, is a group of students who coordinate and implement a variety of social, cultural and recreational activities and programs which allow Berry students to interact and have fun. The board implements programs and activities that reflect the Berry culture, respect existing policy, and encourage a sense of community among diverse people. KCAB’s goal is to support campus vibrancy and enhance the overall standard and quality of campus life.

KCAB is both a student organizations and a paid student work team serving under the Office of Student Involvement. Together, they host weekend events like talent shows, skate nights, concerts, and variety performers, just to name a few! In addition, KCAB supports many of Berry’s annual traditions throughout the year – Welcome Back Weekend, Mountain Day Olympics, Semi-Formal and Formal and Casino Night.

While KCAB supports the Berry community through their efforts, students on KCAB gain experience in problem solving, teamwork, managing projects and leadership development. Berry students may apply for the board each spring for a paid position, however, KCAB’s volunteer team called KCAB Krew is open for all students to join at any point in their Berry career.

Connect with KCAB through Facebook or Instagram (@kcabatberry) to find out more about events offered throughout the year!
