Who we are

The Peer Educators are a team of student leaders specially trained to promote the mental health and well-being of Berry College’s student body with a focus on prevention education.

As a part of the Counseling Center, their mission is to provide information that raises awareness about mental health, promotes well-being, and empowers students to make informed, safe choices. They are supervised by the Senior Counselor of the Counseling Center and collaborate with a variety of campus groups to provide up-to-date information on a variety of topics that affect college students.

Programs are delivered through in-person outreach initiatives such as presentations for classes and other groups, hosting events, and tabling. In addition, prevention education content is presented via Instagram posts and “Pot Thoughts,” a twice-monthly publication that can be found in campus restrooms.

Past Program Topics Include:

  • Sleep
