Berry College Health Center is alert for students coming in with fever and respiratory symptoms. If you believe you have been exposed to coronavirus you must be evaluated by a health care provider prior to returning to campus and you may be subject to a 14-day quarantine.

If STUDENTS experience any symptoms, please call the Health Center at 706.236.2267. If a student meets the criteria for possible exposure to novel coronavirus, infection control precautions will be implemented and the Georgia Department of Public Health will be notified immediately. Should a case be positively identified, appropriate communications will go into effect as guided by the Georgia Department of Public Health. Protocols are in place for cleaning residence hall(s) of affected students and work spaces of affected faculty and staff. Administrators will work with faculty to make accommodations for extended student absences. If you are concerned about a student, please contact Emma Cordle at the Health Center or Lindsey Taylor, Dean of Students.

FACULTY and STAFF should contact their personal care provider by phone if they have symptoms. If there are confirmed cases, your care provider has been directed to the Department of Public Health and will follow their recommendations for care. If diagnosed, employees should contact their supervisor and Human Resources (Wayne Phipps or Cindy Marchant) immediately and not return to work or campus until they have been cleared. If you are concerned about a faculty or staff member, please contact HR (Wayne Phipps or Cindy Marchant)
