Picnics
The Keown picnic pavilion, off Lavender Mountain Road, can be reserved by calling 706-368-6789. Other than for official events (e.g., Mountain Day), picnicking is not authorized at other locations.
Solicitation on Campus
Generally, solicitation of any kind is prohibited on Berry College property. Special permission may be granted provided that an application is made to be reviewed and approved/denied by the Vice President for Student Affairs. This prohibition includes but is not limited to person-to-person direct marketing or sales, placing “flyers” on vehicle windshields, posting flyers on or in any campus buildings, the use of any donation receptacles or other activities as deemed inappropriate by Berry College. Any student/student group must first be authorized by the director of student involvement prior to review by the Vice President for Student Affairs. Even authorized promoters must adhere to posting policies within and unique to individual buildings.
All unauthorized solicitors should be reported immediately to Campus Police.
