Jeanne Schul, Ph.D. is a Dance Specialist at Berry College in the Department of Fine Arts where she coordinates the dance minor program and serves as Artistic Director of the Berry College Dance Troupe, which she founded in 1996. Dr. Schul holds a Ph.D.
and M.A. in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute, a Masters degree in Dance from Texas Woman’s University, and a B.A. in Dance and English from SUNY Brockport. She has numerous national publications and presentations in the area of dance and dreams. She is on the Board of Directors for the Eastwest
Somatics Network and is a Registered Somatic Movement Therapist through ISMETA. She has been the recipient of many grants involving dance education, including the Berry College International Immersion Grant in 2011 to explore Latin dance and culture in Costa Rica, where she now takes interested Berry students to
study during Maymester. In 2010, Dr. Schul was awarded the New Mythos grant from the OPUS Archives and Research Center in Santa Barbara, CA to conduct research entitled, The Divine Feminine: Dancing Us into Being.
