Business Minors
The Campbell School of Business offers minors in business and economics. Business minors are not available to students who earn a major in business administration, but economics minors may be elected by students in any program. Students from other schools in Berry College are encouraged to broaden their perspectives by choosing minors in business or economics.
Minor in Business
Business minors must complete the business minor pre-core and core plus 6 additional business elective hours.
1. Business-Minor Pre core Courses (6 hours)
ECO 110 Principles of Economics (general education)
ACC 201 Principle of Financial Accounting PRE-REQUISITE:ECO 110
2. Required Business-Minor core Courses (9 hours)
FIN 301 Introduction to Finance or FIN 235 Personal Finance PRE-REQUISITE: ACC 201 or non respectively
MKT 301 Principles of Marketing PRE-REQUISITE: ECO 110 + 45 credit hours
MKT 301 Principles of Management PRE-REQUISITE: 45 credit hours
3. Elective Business-Minor Courses (6 hours)
ACC 202, BUS 210 or any 300-level or 400-level ACC, BUS, FIN, MGT or MKT courses for which all pre-requisites have been met. PRE-REQUISITE: Check catalog
Minor in Economics
Economics minors must complete the economics pre core and an additional 12 hours of elective economics course.
