What your gift can do
Together, Firsthand Fund gifts provide more than $2 million in support each year for
student scholarships and Berry’s premier work experience program. That
support enables a freshman to earn about $100 a week for an entry-level
job and a junior or senior to earn about $145 a week. Students’ need
for these wages continues to grow, as does the quality of Berry’s
premier work experience program. Firsthand fund gifts directly help to
keep a Berry education both accessible and exceptional!
Firsthand Fund gifts also support a wide range of activities that enrich student
life, covering such expenses as athletic team travel and equipment,
Forensic and College Bowl competitions, and many others.
