Steven J. Cage
Athletic & Recreation Center
The Cage Center is a major hub of activity on the Berry campus that has exceeded all expectations
in becoming “the center of it all” for Berry students.
Opened
in 2008, the Cage provides a state-of-the-art home for Berry’s
intercollegiate and
intramural athletic programs, as well as fitness facilities for the
entire campus community and a 2,000-seat intercollegiate sports arena
that also provides an exceptional venue for large college gatherings. More. It
is connected to the adjacent Krannert Student Center via the breathtaking natural beauty of Kilpatrick Commons. More.
The
facility is named for Indianapolis entrepreneur Steve Cage, a 1974
Berry graduate who
now serves on the Berry College Board of Trustees. He helped initiate
fundraising for the $32.5 million project with the largest alumni gift
in the history of the college – $10 million. Fundraising
for the project was completed in May 2011. Thank you for your generous support! More.
