Robert H. Williams (62H)
Award: 2008 Entrepreneurial Spirit Award
Achievements: Bob Williams (62H) graduated with honors from Berry High School in 1962 and attended Berry College in the fall of that year but had to withdraw to work full time. It was then that he developed a vision of being the owner and operator of his own motor vehicle business – a vision that became a reality in 1969 when he borrowed the funds to open a small automotive service business, Bob’s Standard Service. In 1978, after several years as auto service manager at Warren Lindsey Lincoln-Mercury, he became owner and operator of Bob Williams Auto Service, which today is Bob Williams Dodge Chrysler Jeep. Chrysler has awarded Mr. Williams 13 Five Star Service Awards for customer service and outstanding service, as well as the Bronze Service Management Award. In 1993, he earned the Dodge Charger Award as one of the top 100 dealers in the country for sales. A longtime friend and benefactor of Berry College, Mr. Williams is an avid supporter of Berry athletics and serves as a radio commentator for many Berry sports broadcasts.
