Award: 2008 Outstanding Young Alumni Award

Achievements: Brian Brodrick (97C) is a partner with Jackson Spalding, a public relations and communications firm based in Atlanta, and leads several of the firm’s largest and longest tenured clients. In 2003, he opened the firm’s first satellite office in Athens, Ga., and has overseen the growth and expansion of the operation to include nine employees with annual revenues of more than $800,000. He is an avid civic leader who was named to Georgia Trend magazine’s 2007 “40 under 40” list of the state’s most influential young leaders. His many involvements include the University Relations Committee of the Athens Area Chamber of Commerce, Executive Board of the Boy Scouts’ Northeast Georgia Council and Board of Advisors for The University of Georgia’s Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communications. He also is a member of the Watkinsville City Council and an associate board member of the Oconee County Chamber of Commerce.
