Welcome and Announcements:
Scholarship night at Berry Thursday, February 21st: includes honoring Carpet Capital Chapters, Clay H. Kenemer Scholarship recipients of 2008.
Next year 2009 there will be four students chosen to receive the Kenemer Scholarship at the next meeting: August 9, 2008 at 5:30 p.m.
Chapter meeting and picnic at Walnut Square Mall (meeting room near JC Penney) 2150 East Walnut Avenue, Dalton, GA, each person is to bring a covered dish for the picnic (of their chose) buffet line.

Committee:
Scholarship: Report was given by Harlan Chapman, he stated that Carpet Chapter plans to give four scholarships at the next meeting at Walnut Square Mall on August 9,2008. He also spoke of the food drive at the Salvation Army last fall. With help from Wal-Mart and our Chapter, we boxed up food for those who needed a little help. A thank you note was sent to Wal-Mart for their help by the secretary.
Service Committee: Doris Chapman stated that our service this meeting would to Northwest Girl's Home. Doris passed an envelope around and money was received for this project.

He stated, the Cage Center is a sound proved new athletic facility proudly named in honor of Alumnus and trustee, Steven 1. Cage. The Cage Center is more than a building, it's a dream and idea of commitment to students at Berry College and those who enter Berry. It enhances recreational programming and facilities for all students, a dream come true. It promotes personal fitness and healthy habits for life and an up grade to the Berry athletic performance. It creates a natural social gathering place for all members of the Berry Community. Students are able to get to know each other in a safe place. It has the potential to touch every life on campus through its exceptional education, fitness and recreation facilities in a great social atmosphere.
Randall Goble gave a question offer to the chapter if anyone had questions to ask.

Service Project: Our service project for next month will be contributions to Clay H. Kenemer scholarship fund.
