Reunion Gift Goal
Alumni support is very important to Berry. One of the primary items corporations and foundations consider when making gifts to a college is the percentage of alumni who give. Since this metric is not dependent on the actual size of any single or collective gift(s), any gift you give, regardless of the amount, makes a positive impact on this percentage. Last year, 15% of our class made a gift to Berry. Our goal for the reunion is to have 30% of our class make a donation of any amount and hopefully exceed last year’s total. Could you give $19.97 in honor of our class year to help us reach our goal?
We have listed below areas of potential giving options based on current student needs:
- The Berry Firsthand Fund – student scholarships and student work program.
- Gate of Opportunity Program – allows select students to work their way through school with a three-way partnership between the student/parents, the college, and donors.
- Student Enterprises – a new endeavor at Berry that provides students with the opportunity to have “real world” job experience.
- Historic Preservation Fund – Berry’s historical sites (e. g. College Chapel, Barnwell Chapel, Frost Chapel and many others) are preserved for future generations.
