Fall Festivities

With more than 7.5 million trees on Berry’s campus, fall is one of the most beautiful times to be on campus. The season means beautiful weather, an array of orange, yellow, and red leaves, and of course Halloween fun.

Halloween brought out various ghouls, skeletons, and characters making appearances all around campus. Freshman Kaitlin Keith tweeted that she “saw Darth Vader ride by on his bicycle.” Similar tweets and Instagram posts at https://storify.com/berrycollege/halloween-at-berry-college showcased the fun. The men’s lacrosse team hosted its annual Halloween costume scrimmage charity game where all the players dressed in costumes.

Freezing temperatures, and sleet did not keep fans from supporting the football players in a Halloween night game. Fans came dressed in the spirit of Halloween ready to cheer on the Vikings and participate in the half-time costume contest.

Krannert Center Activities Board hosted the annual Halloween Dance, and Berry College Alternative Realities created its annual haunted house in Krannert underground. The dance included a variety of dancing pirates, deer, flappers, video game heroes, dominos, and even some students dressed as professors.
