Berry College is seeking a part-time call center coordinator to hire, train and supervise student callers for the office of annual giving

|Job Summary - The call center coordinator will provide oversight and expertise to the call center operation which will help to increase the level of support to Berry College. The responsibilities of the call center coordinator will include supervising 20 to 30+ student callers. These callers are an integral part of the college’s fundraising and alumni relations effort. Student callers contact Berry alumni and parents and encourage them to contribute to the Firsthand Fund, an annual fundraising campaign that secures funding for scholarships and student work opportunities. In addition, student callers update alumni and parent information and help answer questions about the college.
Responsible for the hiring, training, supervision and evaluation of student callers and student supervisors who work in the call center.
Plan and supervise call center shifts (Monday-Thursday 6-9 p.m.).
Manage the day-to-day activities of the students and evaluate their performance.
Monitor caller activity, provide feedback and training to ensure successful caller performance.
Assist in creating and updating call scripts.
Assist in planning calling schedule for the academic year.
Develop and supervise motivational activities to increase productivity.
Enter nightly call center statistics into Access database for comparative tracking.
Produce pledge reminders monthly.
Coordinate with advancement services to ensure all updates to the Jenzabar database have been entered.
Solicit caller incentives from local businesses.
Review statistics and award nightly/weekly incentives to top callers.
|Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification required - A bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired. The call center coordinator must also have the ability to work 20 hours a week from 4-9 p.m. each Monday through Thursday. |
