Course Reserves
Memorial Library offers reserve services to any faculty member who wishes to place material on Course Reserve for use by students. A valid Berry College ID is needed for checkout of physical items; most electronic reserve links will require a password which is available from the course instructor or from library service desks.
Types of Course Reserves
Traditional Reserves |
Physical items such as books, readings, media, text solutions, geological samples, etc. are kept at the Circulation Desk for checkout by students enrolled in a particular course.
|
Electronic Reserves |
Electronic Reserves (E-Reserves) are available online via the library's web site 24 hours a day. Most E-reserves require Adobe Acrobat Reader software -- already loaded on all campus workstations and available for free download.
|
General Reserves |
May be traditional or electronic format, but are not tied to a particular course.
Current available items include laptop computers, academic writing style guides such as APA or MLA guides, a collection of course syllabi, materials for committee use, and select Berry College publications.

Circulation Policies
Use of reserves is limited to a 2 hour, 24 hour, or one week check-out period established in advance by the course instructor. Any material not returned at the specified due time will accumulate overdue fines on an hourly basis at a specified rate. There is no grace period for Course Reserve items.
How to locate your Course Reserves
From the Library's home page, select Course Reserves from the left-hand navigation or from the "Quick Links" list in the center of the page; both links will take you directly to the Course Reserves listings (arranged by course prefix/number).
