Challenger Sports
Challenger Sports is a division of the Rome-Floyd Parks and
Recreation Authority. The Challenger
Sports League is designed to help special needs children and adults have the
opportunity to experience the excitement of playing sports regardless of their
disability. The program is designed for developmentally disabled persons. Volunteers are used as coaches, buddies,
refreshment stands personnel, and various event staff.
