Short Bio

Matthew Lee teaches courses in Philosophy at Berry. Before coming to Berry, Dr. Lee completed an MPhil in Philosophical Theology at the University of Oxford and a Ph.D. in Philosophy at the University of Notre Dame. He is a specialist in analytic Epistemology and Philosophy of Religion, with additional interests in Ethics and the Philosophy of Mind.

Dr. Lee regularly teaches Introduction to Philosophy, Critical Thinking, and the Philosophy of C. S. Lewis. He has also taught (or will soon teach) Symbolic Logic, Later Modern Philosophy, God & Evolution, and the Ethics of Emerging Weapons Technologies.
