Rollins Dairy Unit

The Berry College Dairy began in 1902 and since has continually strived to create an outstanding registered Jersey herd.  Today, Berry continues to maintain outstanding cattle within their herd while teaching students all aspects of dairy operation.  Currently the milking string consists of approximately 30 cows milked twice daily.  The Berry College Dairy maintains over 50 acres, including a state-of-the art four-stall herringbone parlor, free stall area and calf rearing facilities.  Students can gain valuable experience working at the facility. The Berry Farms – Jersey Milk and Berry Farms – Genetics student operated enterprises are operated through the dairy.
