As a component of Berry’s LifeWorks program, the Berry College Student Enterprise program believes in learning by doing. We facilitate this by providing students the opportunity to develop, manage, and grow a wide variety of student created businesses distinct to Berry. 

From theory to practice. We bridge the gap.

Inventory control. Product development. Human Resources. Succession planning. Social media marketing. Risk management. These business buzz words are floated around a lot. It’s one thing to study these concepts, and it’s another thing to apply them. That’s where we come in. Even with our portion of Berry’s website (our pages are written and maintained by students).

Did we mention ownership?

Through our program, students run small businesses as if they own them, which sometimes means jumping on board with an existing business and adding value. We also have a process for especially enterprising students to launch their own enterprises based on their unique interests and skills. Visit our FAQ page for more information on how it all works!

We coordinate and execute a market every spring, summer, and fall, welcoming over 70 community vendors and student entrepreneurs to sell alongside our Enterprises. But those events only happen a few times per year. Don’t wait that long to visit! We recently opened a new on-campus store. It is located within the bookstore in the Krannert Student Center, open M-F 8:30am-5pm and Saturdays 10am-3pm. If you can’t come see us in person, you can shop at berrycollegestore.com!
