What are the minimum and maximum limits for a lease?
There are no minimum time requirements, but leases are not to exceed a two-year period unless an extension request is granted.
Why do all leases expire at the end of May?
Leases expire at the end of May to ensure sufficient time for cleaning and updates in each unit before the next tenant moves in. It is often more efficient for new tenants to move in before the start of the academic year in August, meaning our Facilities staff only have the months of June and July to complete any necessary renovations.
Which houses on campus are designated as Faculty / Staff housing?
If you view the campus map and select the Faculty / Staff Housing filter, you will be able to view them all.
Are units already furnished?
No. It is the responsibility of the tenant to furnish the unit; however, large appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, washers, and dryers are provided.
I submitted an application and have not heard anything back yet… When will I find out if I will receive campus housing?
Once your application has been processed and approved, you will be notified via email with confirmation. Likewise, if a space matching your application preferences becomes available, you will be notified via email with further details.
