Carley Price is the Director of Counseling. Carley Price has been with Berry since 2015. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has over 10 years of experience in the field of mental health. Prior to Berry, she worked at Floyd Behavioral Health in both inpatient and outpatient settings, as well as maintaining a private practice. She received her B.A in Psychology from Valdosta State University, and her Master of Science Degree in Professional Counseling from Georgia State University. Carley has a wide variety of interests, but especially enjoys working with issues of mind-body health, anxiety, relationship and growth/identity. In her spare time, she likes to travel with her family and attend Auburn football games.

Terri Cordle is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has been with Berry since 2006. She has worked with college students for more than 25 years and values being part of their self-exploration journey. Prior to Berry, she worked in the counseling centers at Shorter, Kennesaw State and Southern Poly. Terri earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Clemson University and her Master of Science degree in community counseling from Georgia State University. She believes counseling should facilitate growth and aspires to provide a collaborative relationship that students may use for their personal development. She enjoys working with a variety of student concerns with special interest in issues of identity and growth, relationships, looking at how our past impacts our present, stress management and the mind-body connection. Terri is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).

Connor Pierce started at Berry College in the Fall of 2022. Connor studied philosophy as an undergraduate and earned his master’s degree in Professional Counseling, both at the University of West Georgia. His passion for working with college students blossomed while completing his internship at the University of West Georgia’s counseling center. He loves being able to sit with clients as they encounter a multitude of new experiences, explorations, challenges, and identity developments. Connor has special interests in working with all forms of trauma, LGBTQ+ populations, anxiety, depression, and both interpersonal and intrapersonal relationship struggles. Connor likes to focus on self-congruence, identifying personal patterns and behaviors, and exploring the client’s direct experiences with the world to achieve empowerment and change. In his spare time, Connor loves to backpack and listen to music and podcasts.

Chante' Hill started with Berry as a Counselor in Training in 2022. She is now the Suicide Prevention Project Director & Counselor in the Counseling Center. She graduated with her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of West Georgia. Chante’ also has a background in nursing and uses a holistic view when working with students. She has a variety of interests in the field of counseling including trauma, mind-body wellness connection, relationships, self-awareness, personal growth and development. In her spare time, she loves to attend yoga and Tai chi classes.

Kuo is a counseling psychologist, graduated with a Ph.D. from Indiana University Bloomington and now working as an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Berry College. She will also be providing limited counseling hours in the Counseling Center. Clinically, Kuo is passionate about providing therapy and psychological services in Mandarin Chinese and English, using theories such as ACT, DBT, Compassion-focused Therapy, and mindfulness. Kuo is committed to serve historically marginalized populations and clients with diverse backgrounds, especially Asian/Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, international students, LGBTQ+ populations, and people of color in general. Academically, Kuo works on research around suicide methods, positive psychology as well as cross-cultural mental health. Kuo was born and raised in Sichuan, China, moved to the US year 2011. Kuo is multilingual, loves international traveling and had lived/volunteered in France, Morocco, Thailand, Sri Lanka and Burma.

Kimberly Barackman is the Office Manager for the Counseling Center. She will most likely be your initial point of contact when you call or visit the center. Your comfort and privacy are her main concerns. Kimberly loves spending time with her family, being in the pool and taking care of her eight cats and one dog!
